  *Stake 1*   Open Qualifying Stake for 24 Retrievers

(Winner receives an "A" qualification for entry to the 2010 Retriever Championship)

Date: Wednesday 15th & Thursday 16th September 2010

Venue: Kinnaird Estate, by Dunkeld by kind permission of Mr Barry Mordue (Feathers at Altitude)

Entry Fee: Members - £35 per entry  & Non members - £60 per entry

Draw: 6.00pm Friday 13th August at Pirnhall Inn, by Stirling - ALL WELCOME (Preference in the draw as per KC REGULATIONS 7(i)(1)(j)

Health & Safety Risk Assessment - Competitors should be advised that the terrain and underfoot conditions are demanding and typical of a grouse moor

General Information

1. Large self-seal s.a.e. required for result of the draw and directions to the meet.

2. Please ensure your entry form is completed correctly and is totally legible. Illegible forms will not be accepted and will be returned.

3. Kennel Club Rule J 3c (1)d(1) defines the stake.

4. SEPARATE CHEQUES for each entry please.

5. Please use stud book number if available.

6. The Club reserves the right to refuse entries.

7. No modification will be made to this Schedule except by permission of the Kennel Club, followed by advertisement in the appropriate journals if time permits before closing of entries.

8. Should circumstances so dictate, the Club in consultation with the Judges may alter arrangements as necessary. Such changes and the circumstances surrounding them must be reported to the Kennel Club at  the earliest opportunity.

9. Anyone withdrawing after accepting a run will forfeit the whole entry fee.  Exceptions – The dog has qualified  out of the stake (Novice) or the dog has already qualified for the Retriever Championship, or on production of a Veterinary Certificate which must be produced within one month of the trial.

10. When a dog is in JOINT ownership, all owners must be club members to qualify for Preference in the Draw. Ownership details must be correct.

11. If transfer is applied for, please show T.A.F. clearly on entry form.

12. Substitutions will NOT be allowed while reserves stand.

13. All persons attending the trial must consider themselves under the orders of the officials.

14. Should the stake be cancelled NO CHEQUES will be cashed.

15. All trophies to be engraved at owner's expense and returned cleaned and boxed to the FT Secretary at least 14 days prior to the event.
